Bike and Build – Bike & Build organizes cross-country bicycle trips which benefit affordable housing groups. Specifically, Bike & Build fund projects planned and executed by young adults. Over the past 9 seasons they have donated more than $3.3M; built for more than 100,000 hours; pedaled over 5MM miles; and engaged more than 1500 young adults in spreading the word about the affordable housing crisis in America.
Haiti Earthquake Relief – Employees contributed to the American Red Cross to support humanitarian efforts in the wake of the earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010.
Kickstarter – Kickstarter is the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects. Every week, tens of thousands of amazing people pledge millions of dollars to projects from the worlds of music, film, art, technology, design, food, publishing and other creative fields.
Kiva – Since 2005, HCGI employees have funded projects through Kiva. Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions, Kiva lets individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – HCGI employees annually participate in this Race with the global leader of the breast cancer movement, The world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, they empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.
